Ever since she decided tostop wearing makeupin 2023,Pamela Andersonhas won heaps ofpraisefor breaking away from societal norms and embracing her natural beauty at public events.
Most recently, Pamela, 57, stepped out at the2025 Met Galafresh-faced, wearing a stunning silver Tory Burch gown and rocking a newangular bob.
But sadly, Pamela’s appearance was criticized by UK tabloid theDaily Mail, who published a piece calling her “frumpy” and saying that she “looks worlds away” from her “Baywatchglory days.”
Aside from the obvious fact that Pamelawas just 25when she was first onBaywatch, and therefore obviously looks different over three decades later, several fans are rightfully so tired of women being critiqued for simply aging.
“Frumpy? She’s stunning and she’s 57 years old. Can we stop expecting women to look 23 their entire lives?” questionedwriter Shannon Watts, whileauthor Natali Simmondssaid, “She’s 57!! Let her live her life. Is anyone angry that George Clooney let his hair go grey or that Matt Damon no longer has a six pack? No. Only women are expected to stay looking 25 while approaching 60!”

Indeed, it’s incredibly frustrating that Pamela — and manyother famous women— are so harshly criticized for simply choosing to embrace their natural beauty as they age. But thankfully, it looks like there are enough people who are aware of how unfair such standards are.
