She ’s also psychical .
Sister Rose Pacatte from the Daughters of St. Paul has been a nun for nearly 60 years and currently lives in Rome.
She was interviewed by Norah O’Donnell in the Vatican before the Conclave, and that interview is going viral:
Sister Rose Pacatte , a nun for nearly 60 years , was excited when she saw CBS News ' @Norah O’Donnell reporting in Rome for the conclave . She shared her thoughts on expanding the part of women in the Catholic Church and the kind of pontiff she believe could help make it happen.#pope#catholic#news#vatican#nun
First off, I love how excited she gets when she sees Norah O’Donnell.
Secondly, it’s completely wild that she predicted that Cardinal Prevost would become Pope.
And thirdly, her wisdom about women in the Catholic Church is just so sincere.
Norah asked Sister Rose if she wanted women to have a bigger role in the Catholic Church, and Sister Rose’s insightful answer is resonating with a ton of people.
“I am almost 60 years a nun. People need to realize if there’s a problem, and women are not part of the solution, it will not be solved in any type of long-term meaningful way,” she says. “Women have to always be part of the solution. I think Pope Francis brought us a lot closer than anyone has ever brought us. I still think that there will be a women’s diaconate. And the only reason they don’t have it, I think, is because they’re afraid.”
“Who’s afraid?” Norah asks. “I think the hierarchy. The men in the church. And maybe not all of them, I don’t want to generalize to everybody,” she says.
Well, people are loving her response/aura/everything.
“She is so correct, intelligent and gentle,” one person said.
“I’m telling my children she is the pope,” another person commented.
And then a bunch of people are pointing out that she’s wearing high-heeled running shoes.
Obsessed.
As this person said, “Women always need to be part of the solution. Sister Rose, you are amazing.”
