Anow-viral drone videoof an immigration detention center has received over 55 million views after a group of detainees were seen joining hands to form the letters “SOS.”

In a 10-second video taken by a Reuters drone, the camera pans over the courtyard of theBluebonnet immigrant detention centerin Anson, Texas, capturing a large group of detainees wearing red and orange jumpsuits. Some detainees waved their hands upwards at the drone, seemingly trying to get its attention.

A few seconds later,31 detaineesjoined hands and positioned their bodies to spell out the letters “SOS,” which is aMorse Code signal for distress.

For context, days before this drone video was taken, dozens of Venezuelans being held at the Bluebonnet immigrant detention center werereportedlygiven notices saying they were set to be deported for allegedly being members of a Venezuelan gang called Tren de Aragua. However, several families of the detainees denied these claims. One detaineesaidin a phone interview, “They’re making false accusations about me. I don’t belong to any gang.”

“This is horrifying and utterly heartbreaking,” another person agreed.

“They’re trying to warn us. And we aren’t listening,” this person wrote.
