I do n’t call back she ’s wrong , in my not - so - humble impression .

Jennifer Coolidge recently talked withPeopleat The Tryst Puerto Vallarta: Opening Night Party in Mexico.

During the conversation, the reporter asked, “How is the gay fan base different than any other fan base? What do you love about having them love you so much?”

Jennifer has long voiced her support for her LGBTQ+ fans. In 2023, theWhite Lotusactor received a standing ovation at the 34th annualGLAAD Media Awards. “You know, I have so much respect for the LGBTQ community and I just want you all to know that I love you and I thank you for always being there for me,” she said.

Jennifer replied, “Maybe heterosexual people are more self-conscious.”

After taking a beat to think about her response, Jennifer said, “I think gay men and gay women just let loose and have a blast. They know how to have a really, really good — really fun time.”

“They’re really original, you know. They’re a superior group of people.”

Listen, I knew Jennifer was mother, but I fear she could never top this statement. She wasn’t playing around when her character Tanya said, “Gay guys are really the best if you’re looking for a friend.”

And the people of the internet agree with Jennifer’s sentiment. One person said, “Agree! Gay men are also the funniest quick witted natural comedians as a general rule.”

Another person said, “Jennifer Coolidge only speaks the truth.”

One person suggested the reason for Jennifer’s declaration about her LGBTQ+ fans is because “they are not policing everyone else.”

Another user added, “They ain’t got nothing to hide & have already been thru it all. They just wanna live authentically & have a gay ol' time doing it.”

Someone said there’s “Collective Gay Cheering 4 This Diva,” and based on the GLAAD Awards reception, they’re not wrong.

Lastly, this person wrote, “mama said it right there,” and that’s on period.

Before you get your britches in a bunch, I’m sure Jennifer adores all her fans, but it doesn’t hurt to show her LGBTQ+ fans a little extra love — and we love her back.

Thank you, Jennifer!
