She ’s me .

An all-female crew composed ofKaty Perry,Gayle King, Lauren Sánchez, Kerianne Flynn, Aisha Bowe, and Amanda Nguyenflew to spacefor approximately 10 minutes today.

Yeah, Katy Perry was in there.

The mission was set up by Jeff Bezos’s company, Blue Origin, which aimsto make space travel more accessible and sustainable.

Now, let’s talk about Gayle King.

Just before the crew went into space, they rang a bell, and that video is going viral.

As you can see, Kerianne Flynn looks absolutely thrilled.

Aisha Bowe looks excited.

Katy Perry seems happy.

Lauren Sánchez is into it.

And Gayle King…

Well, she clearly was feeling a certain way.

This is exactly how I would feel if I was being launched into space.

People in the replies are laughing at her expression.

“She does NOT want to do this…” one person pointed out.

“Gayle has ‘what did I get myself into’ all over her face,” another person said.

And a bunch of people were like, “You can turn around.”

Luckily, they all made it.

Was it worth the trauma? I guess we’ll have to wait and see. Either way, thanks for this rare moment of relatability/meme.
