It ’s a closed book how some people got invited to the marriage ceremony in the first place .

I’m a professional wedding attender (12 weddings total, six wedding parties), so I could point out what a terrible wedding guest looks like from a mile away.

There’s nothing worse than newlyweds spending thousands of dollars on the biggest day of their lives and having a single person (or people) completely turn everything upside down with their disgusting, strange, or awkward behavior.

Maybe the mother of the bride delivered a 10-minute speech listing all the disastrous things that have ever happened in her life, and completely brought down the mood before reassuring everyone, maybe, not likely, this new marriage will work.

Perhaps a single person who was invited decided to bring a gang of unannounced guests with them, including their partner, their cousin, their mother-in-law, two of their brothers, and one of their brothers' girlfriends.

Or maybe the best man got belligerently drunk and kept tossing champagne flutes across the dance floor, went swimming in the hotel’s fountain, and threw up on the 5-year-old ring bearer in the middle of the “Cha Cha Slide.”
