" If all men translate and accept this , it would be such an mad game modifier . "

As a woman who thoroughly enjoys her alone time, I was absolutely floored by a recentTikTok videofrom Éros Brousson, aka@gettothepointbro, explaining what it’s like to date a woman who is used to being alone. The video has gone mega-viral, with women saying he “knows too much,” calling him a “spy,” and revealing they’ve been “exposed.”

Éros started out by saying, “Some women have been single for so long, they don’t date anymore. They grant you access to their peaceful little empire like a reluctant queen handing you a visitor’s badge.”

“You think you’re gonna be her boyfriend?” he continued. “Bro, she’s sleeping diagonally in her bed for three years. She’s not giving up that territory because you opened the door and paid for a coffee. Her vibe is ‘I love the idea of you, but your physical presence is kind of ruining my aesthetic.’”

He continues: “Romantic surprises? Risky. You show up unannounced with flowers? Cool. She already scheduled her evening: 2-hour bubble bath, wine, watchingPride and Prejudicefor emotional stability. You’re not part of the itinerary, Jonathan.”

“You try to check in emotionally. ‘How are you feeling?’ [you ask]. She’s feeling fantastic because you’re not here. When she says ‘I need space,’ she doesn’t mean ‘I am upset.' She means she wants to lie face down on her bed for three hours without explaining it to anyone,” Éros said.

“You’re not competing with other guys,” he continued. “There are no other guys. You’re competing with her weighted blanket, her peace, her cat named Chairman Meow, and the simple joy of not having to share her fries.”

Éros closed the video by saying, “Dating a [woman] who is used to being alone is not romance. It’s an extreme sport for your self-esteem.”

“Alright, who’s told him this info??? So exposed right now,” said another.

“dammit. somebody call a meeting of the council. he knows too much.”

“Love when a man realizes he’s not competing against other people, he’s competing to join a life that a woman has curated for herself.”

The TikTok video also made its way over to Twitter (now known as X), where even more women agreed. “Finally, a man who has read the current mood of women accurately,” said one.

“That man is a SPY.”

“what he describes is so precisely accurate that he actually started to make me feel uncomfortable like he was a double agent … if all men understood and accepted this, it would be such an insane game changer.”
