" Would it hurt you to be a decent someone with empathy and compassion for once in your life ? "

Recently, it wasannouncedthat former presidentJoe Bidenhas been diagnosed with an “aggressive form” of prostate cancer.

Republicans and leading MAGA voices had a wide array of reactions to the news thatranged between heartfelt words of encouragement and…the opposite.

Well, one of the most notable people falling in the “opposite” category was President Donald Trump’s son and namesake, Donald Trump Jr., whose response has come under fire.

Initially, Don Jr. shared apostsuggesting citizens push “politics aside,” as people “wish [Biden] a speedy recovery.” Jr. even captioned the post, “Agreed 100%.”

However, this was short-lived. Just a few hours later, Don Jr. pushed his own conspiracy, writingon X, “What I want to know is how did Dr. Jill Biden miss stage five metastatic cancer or is this yet another coverup???”

His questioning was accompanied by a post he retweeted that appears to theorize Biden may have known of his diagnosis while in office.

His tweet was far from well received. Between people pointing out thatDr. Jill Biden has her doctoral degree in Education and not medicine, and others questioning why Jr. labeled Biden’s cancer as “stage five” whencancer is typically measured on a scale of 0 to 4,the post was largely seen as tasteless and lacking empathy.
