This week , Chris was free on $ 6.7 - million bail after being arrested and charged with grievous bodily trauma in the UK .

In case you missed it, on May 15,Chris Brownwasarrested in the UKand charged with grievous bodily harm in connection with an alleged attack that took place in a London nightclub in 2023. After spending nearlya week in custody, the singer was released on $6.7-million bail on Wednesday, giving him the freedom to perform his upcoming world tour, which is scheduled to begin on June 8.

For context, Justin and Chris have a pretty long history as collaborators. Way back in 2011, they worked together on the song “Next to You” from Chris’sF.A.M.E.album. They collaborated again in 2019 on a track called “Don’t Check on Me.”

In spite of Chris’sextensive historyof problematic behavior and abuse allegations, Justin has long been vocal in his praise of the Grammy Award-winning singer, oncedescribing himas a living combination ofMichael JacksonandTupacShakur.

Now, fresh off the back of Chris’s latest public controversy, it’s fair to say that people are not happy to see JB supporting him so publicly.

Justin has yet to address the backlash to his comment, but we’ll be sure to let you know if he does.
