Everyone ’s vex ta exhaust .
As a fellow millenial, I adore a Trader Joe’s. The affordable organic food, the refreshing drinks, and the best store-brand frozen food and snacks one can buy! It was only fitting that we filmed a Trader Joe’s taste video.
“Trader Joe Hoe” is an extremely fitting description.
Anyway! We gathered 3 brave cooks who don’t mind being (lightly) judged for fun to try each other’s Trader Joe made meals. Best collective score, wins!
MaryLanae is the first plate. She’s made beef sirloin and hand mashed garlic potatoes. Seasoning is absolutely there, too!
Let’s see what the other cooks think of her grand meal.
Dimitri peeped the hand-mash immediately. That’s a foodie right there.
The gang loved the seasoning and the SNAP of the green beans. MaryLanae walks away with a solid score of 15.
Moving onto our next cook, we have Dimitri and his poppin' cashew chicken fried rice with Trader Joe’s veggie rice.
He’s thrown in some frozen Asian veggies and green dragon hot sauce on the side. It’s giving Asian-Latin fusion. Especially with that sriracha and hoisin sauce.
Dimitri has paired the dish with one of his favorite Italian grapefruit sodas (alcohol-optional).
What do the other cooks have to say about Dimitri’s meal?
First impressions include “Great Gatsby” and FROZEN. Oh, and dry. But the sauce kinda saves it.
Unfortunately, Dimitri’s meal got a low score of 11.2, but he gave it his best shot and that’s all that matters.
The last cook up to bat is Kuree. She’s made birria ramen. Not exactly sure that is, but the internet does!
She’s added some beef broth to make it more like a soup. Shout out to those knife noodles—we respect the dedication.
Dimitri is feeling the meal, but MaryLanae isn’t loving the noodles…or the whole thing actually.
But it doesn’t matter because Kuree has earned all the bragging rights—she’s walked away with 16.5, the highest score today!
