It’s no secret that theMet Galahas evolved a lot sinceAnna Wintourtook charge of the event back in 1995, and among the notable changes is the increased number of sports stars on the red carpet.
While the Met guest list has historically been dominated by those in the arts, more and more athletes have been making their mark on the red carpet in the past decade or so. And this year was yet another memorable night for sports stars at the Met, with seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Sir Lewis Hamilton taking on hosting duties for the very first time.
