I need to know if my collagen supplement is a thriftlessness of money …
For those of us who are chronically online, it’s hard to resist the allure of health trends we see circulating around the internet. I, for one, love trying a new wellness fad just as much as the next Gen Z girlie.
However, some of these “health” practices may not actually do what we are told, or could even have very dangerous effects on our bodies. So, doctors and healthcare professionals, I want to know: what wellness trends should we all stop participating in?
Maybe all the vitamins we take every morning are actually just going through our bodies without providing any real benefits?
Perhaps intermittent fasting could be dangerous for certain groups of people, and they should stay away from that practice altogether?
Maybe perinium sunning, the act of exposing one’s anus to the sun for improved sleep and libido, could actually be very harmful?
Or should we all stop trying to eat as much protein as humanly possible in every meal we consume?
So, to my peeps that work in the medical field: What health trends do you see circulating on the internet that we should all stop doing ASAP?
