" that meme about men take Epiphany of Our Lord about thing fille figure out when they were like 8 eld older . "

For better or worse, you probably knowLogan Paul. He’s an internet personality, wrestler, boxer, entrepreneur, and occasional actor whose time in the spotlight has brought with it a number ofcontroversies.

Now, along with his many occupations, Logan has identified himself as someone who empathizes with women…and this truly feels like something out of a comedy skit.

For context, Logan is engaged to model Nina Agdal, and in September 2024, the couplewelcomed a baby daughter. In a recent episode of hisreality show,Paul American, which was filmed during Nina’s pregnancy, Logan grappled with the idea of raising a daughter and made a biiiiiig statement about women’s struggles in the world.

“Thinking about having a daughter, my mind went to some dark places, dude,” he said in a confessional, looking somber. “I don’t want to come across like a woke asshole, but like, dude, women have it hard. Women have it fucking hard. And I empathize with them.”

As a woman in the world, I can confirm that women do have it hard, some far more than others — whether it’s sexism, abuse, or just generally having our rights stripped away from us by men in power. With that in mind, I appreciate Logan’s empathy. However, his framing of the statement as if it were something remarkably brave or profound (with sad music in the background, no less) is nothing short of baffling, and people seem to agree.

On X, the clip has been viewed millions of times, andone repostwith over 392,000 likes joked that Logan was “having his first critical thought at the ripe age of thirty.” Others were amused/disheartened by his fears of being classified as a “woke asshole” for expressing “bare minimum empathy.”

Hilariously, there were a ton of comparisons toThe Deep,Chace Crawford’s superhero character inThe Boys— ‘cause, if you know, you know.

Others came to Logan’s defense, saying that any epiphany about women’s rights is better late than never. And with that in mind, I eagerly anticipate his next “woke” breakthrough!
