“ I can only imagine how hard it would be for people who get in touch with her early in her career because she was body positive to see her succumb to Ozempic , ” someone write of Meghan , who recently unveil that she used Mounjaro for weight loss .
In recent months,Meghan Trainorhas been extremely candid about her change in physical appearance, partly due to her use ofMounjaro for weight loss.
Meghan, 31,wrote on Instagramin April, “I’ve worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy. And I’m so glad I did because I feel great.”
Meghan portion out two kids with her husband , Daryl Sabara .
Weeks prior, Meghan opened up about herdecision to get a boob job. Posting a video in partnership with Motiva USA, a tech company that designs body implants, shesaid, “I’ve always struggled with loving my boobs before I got them done. They were never even and were always sagging my whole life.”
Now, Meghan has referenced her “new boobs” during a recent performance. At iHeartRadio’s Wango Tango, Meghan switched up the lyrics of her famous 2014 hit,“All About That Bass.”Instead of singing, “It’s pretty clear, I ain’t no size two,” she appeared to sing, “It’s pretty clear, I got some new boobs.”
If you recall, “All About That Bass” sparked some controversy when it was released. While the song is seemingly about embracing your natural body, some of the original lyrics — like, “‘Cause I got that boom boom that all the boys chase / And all the right junk in all the right places” —raised eyebrowswhen it was released.
Regardless, there’s no doubt that the anthem waspraisedby loads of people who loved its“unswerving body-positivism.”And so, Meghan’s lyric change was a little disappointing to some fans. One person called it“hypocritical,”writing, “As someone who was not a size 2 when I first heard this song when I was like 13, for her to change the lyrics just feels hypocritical to me? Like I’m glad she feels good in her body and you know taking ozempic helped her do that but like…man idk.”
“‘Big is beautiful until you’re rich enough to change it.’ — story of the entertainment industry,” read one TikTokcommentwith over 90,000 likes. “She has every right to change and nobody is hating on her. But because her body was a little more relatable it hit with a specific audience. Now it doesn’t hit the same. No shade just is what it is,” saidanother.
“ She changed several of the lyrics because she ca n’t come to any longer . Body positivism is n’t a matter when you may give to interchange , ” someone elsesaid .
“ I can only imagine how hard it would be for people who connected with her other in her career because she was body overconfident to see her succumb to Ozempic , ” another userwrote .
