It’s fair to say thatHailey Bieberis one of the most scrutinized celebrities on the internet, with the star regularly being subjected to cruel accusations on social media.
The most prominent one is that she meticulously plotted to marry her now-husbandJustin Bieberas a teenager, which largely stems from the fact that she was a huge fan of his before they started dating, andeven used to “ship” himand his ex-girlfriendSelena Gomez.
Over the years, Hailey has also been spotted in the background of paparazzi videos of Justin, but the two actually became friends in 2014. However, it was following Justin and Selena’s final break-up in March 2018 that things really became interesting, with Justin and Hailey striking up a relationship three months later.
And Hailey expertly poked fun at all of this in a recent interview withVogue, which involved her going through her handbag and sharing the context behind each item that she carries with her.
After showing off an Eau d’Nepo perfume in reference to her nepo baby status, Hailey pulled out her cellphone, and said to the camera: “This is my phone, very straightforward, obviously.” She then pulled out several more cellphones and said: “These are a couple more that I keep on me, and I really just use them for a lot of the simple stuff, like surfing anonymously, commenting, stalking, viewing girls’ pages, making multiple accounts… You know, that kind of thing.”
And at the end of the video, Hailey pulled out a small glass bottle, and explained in a similarly deadpan way: “OK, so last but not least, this is a little tincture potion that I got, I would probably say when I was around 12. My dad flew me to go meet with this witch who lived in the mountains, and she made it specifically for me.”
“She told me it would make a young Canadian pop star fall in love with me,” she went on. “So, yeah, I’ve been taking this one for years. Absolutely love it, thanks Dad!”
