" One of my wife ’s bridesmaids salute most of a feeding bottle of champagne during the six - mile drive from the church building to the reception . Over the next few hours , she hit on almost every man at the response ( including married I ) , lift her wearing apparel to expose herself on the saltation floor , and ended up in a car with the bride ’s intoxicated , Social Security - aged forefather , quick to leave together . "

We recently asked theBuzzFeed Communityto tell us about the worst wedding guests that almost completely ruined the entire wedding with their nasty entitlement. Here are the very upsetting results:

Note : Some responses were pull fromthisReddit   yarn .

.“The bride’s niece was doing a ‘having sex dance’ with her man on the dance floor during the reception around other dancers. The bride and groom just sat there at their table, mortified.”

.“The groom’s colleague started a fight with the bride’s nephew after said nephew bought the colleague’s wife a drink…because she asked him to! The wife then proceeded to have a very loud, distracting meltdown in all areas of the wedding venue. Everyone was looking and rushing to attend to her needs. She even ran into the men’s toilet and had a meltdown there, refusing to be taken out of the toilets before leaving the venue, flirting with someone else’s partner, and going home with her husband - chaotic!”

.“The +1 of my partner’s work buddy offered to blow the groom under the head table while I was on the dance floor. That wasn’t the only thing she did that night that is still talked about 20 years later.”

.“My mother and I became estranged nine months before our wedding over the COVID vaccine (I was trying to protect my terminalbest friend/maid of honor) and my mother-in-law brought her COVID infected brother-in-law to my wedding and infected half my guests making a joke out my estrangement and the death of my maid of honor four months before the wedding. What a lovely present to come home to.”

.“Best friend’s boyfriend drank himself into oblivion before the wedding even started and during the wedding breakfast he then threw up at the table mid-meal and had to be escorted outside at which point he fell off a step and cut his head open.”

.“My mom and dad walked from table to table and “quietly” told everyone that they were separating.”

.“Bride’s employer came to large church wedding with their dog. The dog got down and ran up and down aisle during ceremony. Then at reception they put dog on top of one of the tables with its own piece of cake to eat off a plate. OMG it was awful. 😳”

.“When I was 16, I sat next to my uncle at my other uncle’s wedding. He kept offering me more and more money to object. I didn’t do it, but at 16, $500 to make a fool of yourself at a wedding is very tempting.”

.“I was the worst guest. Preparing for a friend’s reception when I was notified my mom (now passed) had cancer. Did not have the sense to stay home. The bride’s mom was super nice and between her and one bridesmaid’s horrified expression, I realized I was a hot mess and fled. Forgot to bring the gift and then never sent it! Still embarrassed over 30 years later.”

.“Not mine, but my sisters wedding. An aunt brought a piñata in the shape of a woman so the groom could have something to “pop” that night since my sister wasn’t a virgin (she had a child from her 1st marriage) My cousin and I took care of it and it never made its way into the reception thank goodness..”

.“In 2001, my ex-friend brought her dog (a husky) to the ceremony, reception, and gift opening. Her boyfriend (20 years older) wore sunglasses through the whole thing, pretending to be blind so staff would think the dog was a service dog. Oh, they also smoked a lot of weed and offered it to my 81-year-old aunt and my boss at the time.”

.“My father. I was hesitant to invite him, but I did it anyway. I emphasized that it was only immediate family and our closest friends, but that’s it. No plus ones. The day before he was flying into town he called me with his on again/off again girlfriend, whom I’ve never met, to tell me that she sends us well wishes and she’s so bummed she can’t make it. I normally avoid confrontation when it comes to him, but I was so angry that he put me in that position, letting her know she wasn’t invited. My dad tried to laugh it off like I was joking and I told him I was serious and asked why he thought she would be an exception. He said because he’s my dad so he is the exception.”

.“My husband’s 2nd cousin came to our wedding uninvited and brought a date with her. She then spent 20 minutes telling me and anyone who would listen how glad she was she came because now she knows all of the things she doesn’t want at her wedding.”

.“At our daughter‘s wedding, there was an uninvited couple who showed up and actually brought a guest. We had an exact number for the reception and had to do what we could to accommodate them. In hindsight, we should’ve just told them to leave because the male member of the group got really drunk and high. We had a live band and when they dancing started, he was hitting on a young girl on the dance floor and telling her what a nice ass she had. Long story short, she was only 14 and the daughter of the minister who conducted the ceremony. On a sidenote, what made it even worse was that our daughter worked for that minister at his church.”

.“One of my wife’s bridesmaids drank most of a bottle of champagne during the six-mile drive from the church to the reception. Over the next few hours, she hit on almost every man at the reception (including married ones), lifted her dress to expose herself on the dance floor, and ended up in a car with the bride’s drunk, Social Security-aged father, ready to leave together. Their amorous intentions were only thwarted when my wife sat on the hood of the car, refusing to let them leave.”

.“Groomsman professed his love for bride days before the wedding and then passed out from heat exhaustion at the altar.”

.“My cousin had responded that he couldn’t come. Then he called me the night before at my rehearsal dinner to tell me not only would he be coming to the wedding dinner (not the ceremony), he’d be bringing his girlfriend. He needed directions and nagged me repeatedly to hurry, they were going to a party. That’s why he wouldn’t be at the service; he’d be out late drinking. At the dinner, he asked my mother to rearrange seating so they could sit with her and his mother, which she did without consulting me. My brother and his fiancée were moved to a back table to make room. At no time did they approach or acknowledge me or my new husband. We weren’t invited to his wedding a few years later.”

.“My grandmother walked out halfway through my vows. Still don’t actually know why cause we haven’t spoke since. She just said to my aunt ‘Right, I’ve had enough,’ and off she went to wait in my aunts car. My uncle had to miss the first half of our reception just driving the old hag home.”

.“I invited my best friend, whom I had not seen in several years, because of her problematic boyfriend. We had a wooden board with our last name and the date of the wedding and asked our guests to sign and leave any well wishes or sentiments. After the wedding, I see Mr. Problematic had drawn a werewolf face with the statement, ‘Good luck, you’re going to need it.’ We use it as a headboard, but I don’t look at it.”

.“One of our groomsmen brought his girlfriend to our wedding. She proceeded to get drunk and dance like she was at a strip club, while repeatedly spilling her drink all over the floor. She got so drunk she peed herself and left her dirty underwear on our party bus after the wedding. Worst wedding guest ever.”

.“My uncle’s girlfriend (of only four months) invited herself to my wedding before I had even met her. We said no plus ones and had already sent invites, and the RSVP date was months prior. The day comes and she sits FRONT ROW in the exact same color dress as my bridesmaids. She thought it was hilarious and joked about standing up there with them.”

" My aunt on my dad ’s side , my sister - in - practice of law , and my mother - in - legal philosophy told her restfully to go variety , manifestly , but she refused ( which assure us she did n’t like ) . She put herself in every family photo ( even though I aboveboard did n’t desire her in more than one , specially in that wearing apparel ) . "

" She has made it clear she wants to marry my uncle , but they do n’t even endure in the same city ! My dad ( who knew how annoyed I was at her already ) say ' good one * name * ' and then she go and sulked the remainder of the night . I was so raging at her for being such a pain in the neck , but everyone and I did our serious to disregard it and savor . "
