We’re only a week into Donald Trump’sglobal trade war,and the stock market is still incredibly shaky.

As theDow Jones and S&P 500 are taking a tumble,retirement account holders show signs of resentment toward the president. This isn’t shocking, but what may surprise you is how some in Trump’s base are expressing regret in voting for him.

1.This Trump voter tweeted at Trump, saying, “Recall the tariffs. You cost me over $3200.00 in my retirement accounts Friday.”

2.This conservative suggested that the president’s actions will result in midterms “flying out the door.”

3.This Trump supporter said their retirement “is just fading into oblivion.”

4.This right-winger said they “convinced” their wife and kids “who did not want to vote, to vote for YOU.” Now, they’re begging Trump to “DO SOMETHING” because their retirement “lost more than $100K in 2 days.”

5.This Trump voter tweeted at Trump, saying, “You decimated middle class retirement funds with this trade war. I cannot support you any longer. You have crushed my ability to retire.”

6.This person said they voted for Trump, but that he’s “failing baby boomers with [his] constant flip flopping on tariffs.”

7.This person said they “should have voted for” Kamala Harris and showed off a more than $200,000 loss in their investment account.

8.This Trump voter said, “Tariffs are starting to get ridiculous” now that its affectingtheirretirement.

9.This person said they “didn’t vote for a global trade war…” to which someone quickly responded by saying this is exactly what their vote meant.

10.This person tweeted at Trump, asking, “WHY WHY WHY are you destroying the American senior’s Retirement Accounts?”

11.This Trump voter is “scared to wake up tomorrow to see if [they] have any retirement money left.”

12.In a thread, one conservative suggested that baby boomers' retirement accounts must be sacrificed to “save our country.” And Trump-voting baby boomers were NOT happy about it.

13.This Trump voter said, “At 60 years old and my first year after retirement [Donald Trump’s] policy is killing me. Everything I’ve worked for just keeps dwindling away.”

14.This Trump voter questioned Trump, saying, “I’ve worked all my life ,put away a few bucks for retirement, less than you probably spend in a day, voted for you, now you want to take the pittance I worked my entire life to save ?”

15.This person said they voted for Trump three times, and now they “can’t afford this re session that you’re throwing the USA into.”

16.This Trump voter said they love Trump’s policies, but seemingly threatened, “You better be right with your tariffs… You better be right on this one.”

17.This Trump voter said they’re sorry they voted for him amid “the economic madness!!!”

18.And finally, as Trumpdeclareswe’re in a “golden age of America,” this MAGA voter responded, “Golden Age my butt.”
